Finding Your Battery ID Number

• For specific instructions on removing the battery from your notebook model, please access the user's guide and print the instructions.
  
  
• Power down the notebook.
  
  
• Remove the battery. Your battery will look similar to one of these if it is affected.

• Reference the picture above and determine if the battery is one of the affected part numbers shown below:

• If the battery is not one of the affected part numbers listed above, your battery is not part of this recall, and you may exit the site.
  
  
• If the battery is one of the affected parts numbers, continue to the next step.
